He was predeceased by: his mother Josephine Ritchie Hill; and his brother Jaime Hill. He is survived by: his wife Mae Kiser Hill; his father Eugene Hill, Sr.; his children, David Gordon Hill, Jr. (Tiffany Leggett), Johnny Hill (Cassie), Ashley Jones (James) and Amber Jones (Casey); his grandchildren, Landon Chase Hill, Caitlyn Jones, Courtney Jones, Brandt Hill, Luke Jones, Emma Jones and Peyton Jones; and his siblings, Connie Tapp, Joann Hill and Eugene Hill, Jr. (Holly).
