He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Ashcraft and Alice Ashcraft; his sister Barbara Alcorn; and his niece Elizabeth Ashcraft. He is survived by: his son Daniel Brubaker; his close friend Von; and his siblings, Paul Ashcraft, Omer Jr. Ashcraft, Brenda Ashcraft, Carolyn Ashcraft (Mo) and Donna Kay Mason (Wayne). He is also survived by three grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Christ Centered Church (2275 Eastland Dr, Lexington, KY 40505).
