It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Ann Neal Shanks (Paris, Kentucky), who passed away on April 27, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Conley Shanks, Sr.; her parents, Johnie B. Neal and Lodema Roe Neal; her son John Conley "Opie" Shanks, Jr.; and her stepgranddaughter Kyla Haire.
She is survived by: her son Jeffery Shanks (Liz LeMaster); her grandchildren, Kaylee Howard (Thomas), Keelan Shanks, Logan Shanks, Kingston Shanks, Tanner Hall and Trenton Stacy; her great grandchildren, Brantley Howard and Oaklynn Brooke Howard; her sister Debbie Hill; her cousins, Sandra Dailey and Lisa Underwood; and her close friend Walter Paul. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
