Persley; his stepgrandson Cass Godfrey; his granddaughters, Latoya Garrett, Autumn Hayden, Kara Cornelius, Amari Johnson (JayQuan) and Brandy Garrett; his stepgranddaughters, Taylor Floyd, Delana Williams, Candice Hutchinson and Ki Ki Hutchinson; his nieces and nephews, Gary Trumbo, Ricky Blackburn, Shawn Trumbo, Rodney Brent, Herbert Fox, Sarah Trumbo, Patti Henry, Cheryl Jones and Shelly Brent; and his close friend Margaret Walker. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
