She was predeceased by: her parents, Violet Dunn and Melvin Earl Hampton, Sr.; and her siblings, Aline Brogli Whitecotten (Jim), Melvin Earl Hampton, Jr. (Nancy) and Bobby Gene Hampton (Rosellen).
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Voss (Harry) of Orlando, Florida, Daniel Van Meter (Delanna) of Paris and Andrew Van Meter (Carla) of Frankfort, Kentucky.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
