The memory of Barbara Leer of Paris, Kentucky, born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 19, 2024 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert I. Aten and Mary C. Fritch Aten of Peter's Episcopal Church. She is survived by: her children, Robert A. Leer (Jane), Elizabeth "Betsy" Gore (Tim) and George Michael "Mike" Leer (Katherine); her grandchildren, Allison Leer Miller (Nick), Alex McDaniel Leer, Mary Louise Kennedy (Michael), Anna Gore Sayers (Blake), Shelby Leer McCulloch (Drew), Margaret Leer Doordan (Eric), Nicholas Leer and Grace Leer; and her brothers, David Aten (Judy) and Richard Aten (Susan). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations be given to the Paris-Bourbon County Library, 701 High Street, Paris, Kentucky 40361.
