It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shawn Paul Holbrook (Paintsville, Kentucky), who passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Shawn Paul shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Shawn Paul farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his parents, Paul Holbrook and Joanna Jewel Hitchcock Holbrook; his children, Jaxzon Holbrook of Louisa, KY, Arabella Holbrook of Louisa, KY and Adalynn Holbrook of Louisa, KY; his sister Wendy Holbrook of Van Lear, KY; and his grandmother Marjorie "Jo" Lemaster Holbrook.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Preston Funeral Home (136 Main St, Paintsville, KY 41240). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
