She was predeceased by: her parents, William R. King and Anna Mae Salyer King; and her husband Wayne Bowen. She is survived by: her siblings, Lillian Pauline Cantrell of Nippa, Anita King Bowen of Flat Gap, Henrietta Blevins of Sitka, Delphia Boggs of River, Kentucky and William Oakley King of Lowmansville, Kentucky. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home (807 S Mayo Trail, Paintsville, KY 41240). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
