She was predeceased by: her parents, Norton Daniels and Thelma Fay Conley Daniels; and her sons, Robert Brooks and Davie Brooks. She is survived by: her husband Grady Brooks; her children, James Brooks, Tommy Brooks, Michael Brooks, Paul Brooks, Wendell Brooks, Jason Brooks and Evelyn Kay Spaulding; and her siblings, Earl Daniels of Thelma, KY, Charles Daniels of Thelma, KY, John Daniels of Thelma, KY, Anita Cole, Janet Richmond and Pat Hall of Van Lear, KY. She is also survived by several grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Preston Funeral Home (136 Main St, Paintsville, KY 41240). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
