He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Dorton and Myrtle Maire Staniford Dorton; his wife Tina Faye Grim; his siblings, Curtis Dorton, Jr., William Dorton, Arnold Dorton, Michael Dorton, Helen Burke and Teresa Taylor; and his great grandchild Dalton Dorton.
He is survived by: his children, Shawn Grim of Hager Hill, Alex Dorton of Paintsville, Kentucky and Audreanna Grim of Kentucky; and his siblings, Scott Dorton, Bobby Dorton, Andrew Dorton, Kenneth Dorton and Rose Dorton.
