She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Auxier and Mae Conley Auxier; her husbands, Randall J. "Tookie" Hayslett and Paul Richard "Mickey" McKenzie; and her brothers, Paul Clyde Auxier and David Keith Auxier.

She is survived by: her son John Hayslett of Paintsville, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Lisa Davis (Jamie), Mark Hayslett and Melissa Johnson (Mike); her great grandchildren, Michaela Johnson, Alex Johnson, Wyatt Hayslett, Abby Johnson, Rori Davis and Kinley Davis; and also Carol Auxier Branham (Don) of East Point, Kentucky..
