She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Ratliff and Lillie Preston; and her brother Danny VanHoose. She is survived by: her close friend Buell Tackett of Paintsville, KY; her children, Leland Preston Tackett of Paintsville, KY and Klarrisa LeShay Rice of Lexington, KY; her sister Anita Jean Haight of Berea, KY; and her grandsons, Kurtis Shane Michael Thompson and Landon Taylor Thompson.
