She was predeceased by: her parents, John Woods and Gerttie Arms Woods. She is survived by: her husband James Thomas Shell of Paintsville; her children, James Paul Shell (Debbie) of Paintsville, John Melvin Shell of Paintsville, Christopher Thomas Shell of Louisville, Kentucky and Sonia Leigh Shell Simpson (Jack) of Paintsville; her sister Dianne Joan Root of Columbus; her grandchildren, Destiny Shell Wells (Wayne), John Martin Shell, Brandi Ousley, Jade Simpson and Austin Simpson; and her great grandchild Alexia Wheeler.
