He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Baldwin Spears and Everett Ray Spears; his wife Jane Crawford Spears; and his brother Gene Spears. He is survived by: his children, Carol Evans of Lexington, KY and John Spears (Pamela) of Winter Garden, FL.; his granddaughter Rachel Spears of Winter Garden, FL; his brother-in-law Jack Crawford of Abingdon, VA.; and his friend Frieda Jarrell.
Burial will be at the Webb-Spears Cemetery in West Van Lear, KY on Monday May 22, 2023, at 2 P.M. Memorial gifts can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) or a charity of your choice.
