She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Salyer and Lora Conley Salyers; her husband Walter David McKenzie "Jack"; her son Jody McKenzie; and her siblings, Debbie Freeman and Kevin Salyers.
She is survived by: her son David A McKenzie (Anna) of Flat Gap, Kentucky; her siblings, Earl Salyer of Paintsville, John Salyer of Springfield, Ohio and Ruth Long of Urbana, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Jody McKenzie, Jessica Cameron and Andrew Wiley. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
