With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Roger Vanhoose of Paintsville, Kentucky, who passed away on September 23, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Quimby Vanhoose and Melissa Akers Vanhoose. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Isaac Vanhoose; his children, Rick Vanhoose, Josh Vanhoose, Lanetta Auxier and Amy Vanhoose; and his sisters, Stella Combs and Myrtle Blanton. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
