He is survived by: his wife Melster "Ludy" Kennard; his sons, William Oscar Kennard (Debby) of Flat Gap and Brian Kenneth Kennard (Autumn) of Florence, Kentucky; his stepchildren, Gary Collins (Amy) of Pikeville, Kentucky and Kimberly Morton of Richmond, Kentucky; his siblings, James Kennard of Springboro, Oscar Douglas Kennard of Franklin, Ohio and Neva Murray of Winchester, Kentucky; his grandson Brayden Kennard; and his stepgrandchildren, Lanna and Riley Collins.
