He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregory Shivery and Shirley Preston Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sally Wright Smith; his daughters, Crystal Smith and Summer Smith; his siblings, Scott Smith, Peggy Matthews and Jeanie Kennard; and his granddaughter Ryleigh Sexton.
