He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherwood Spencer and Erma Lee Jones Spencer; and his sister Sandra Cantrell. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Ann Childers Spencer; his children, David Spencer (Traci) of Thelma, Kentucky, Carrie Sparks (Kevin) of Lexington and Shaina Freeman (Daniel) of Thelma, Kentucky; and his siblings, Shera Williams of Ohio, Larry Spencer of Thelma and Steven Spencer of Ohio. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
