He was predeceased by: his parents, Milt Meade and Lena Dale Meade; his wife Judith Griffith Meade; and his sisters, Sharon Adkins and Willa Dean Osborne.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Michael Meade (Stacy) of WestVan Lear, Kentucky and Lisa Johnson (Leroy) of Van Lear; his siblings, Ronald Lee Adkins of Hager Hill, Clarence Milton Adkins of Wittensville, Kentucky, Merzie Ruth Conley of Wittensville and Lena Lou Conley of Lowmansville, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Jacob Joseph, William Joseph, Katelynn Meade and Courtney Meade. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
