He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Adams and Esther Rigsby Adams; and his siblings, Gene, Lee Adams, Rosie Berryman and Goldie Mae Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Carol Blanton Adams; his children, Randy Adams of Salyersville, Mike Adams of Flat Gap, Kentucky, Carolyn Childers of Flat Gap, Kentucky and Brenda Daniel of Flat Gap, Kentucky; his siblings, Johnny Adams of Flat Gap, Kentucky, Ronnie Adams of Flat Gap, Kentucky and Phyllis Sebastian of Paris, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Allison, Julie, Ashley, Josh, Kayla, Bryan, Zachery and Paul. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
