He was predeceased by: his parents, John Blanton and Leona Cantrell Blanton; and his grandson Ronald Matthew Blanton. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann King Blanton; his children, Allen Blanton, Ronnie Blanton and Lisha Holbrook; his grandsons, Michael Paul Holbrook (Samantha) and Austin Jeffery Holbrook (Laken); and his sisters, Judy Carol Adams, Della Barker, Emma Jewell Adams and Anise Harris.
