He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Patty Lafferty of Van Lear, Carolyn VanHoose of Paintsville, Kentucky and Marissa McCarty of Paintsville, Kentucky; his sister Virginia Castle of Salyersville, Kentucky; and his nephew Jimmy Fairchild. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
