It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Burns Baker of Paintsville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 8, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Ray Baker and Nannie Lillian Borders Baker; his wife Ann Baker; his son Carl Sergent; his brothers, Jim Baker and Mike Baker; and his son-in-law Jerry Pelfrey.
He is survived by: his children, Billy Ray Baker (Michelle) of Tutor Key, Larry Sergent (Beatrice) of Paintsville, Eddie Sergent (Karen) of Paintsville, Michael Sergent (Jamie) of Paintsville, Connie Pelfrey of Paintsville, Teresa Ratliff (Jim) of Staffordsville and Dede Sergent of Paintsville; his siblings, Robert "Tittle" Baker (Alice) of Offutt and Juanita Middaugh (Cliff); his daughter-in-law Tracey Sergent of Oil Springs; and his sister-in-law Zondra Baker of Staffordsville. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
