She was predeceased by: her mother Madlyn J. May Evans. She is survived by: her father David Evans of Van Lear; her husband Darrell Tackett of Paintsville, Kentucky; her children, Gaige May of Newport, Nick May of Paintsville, Kentucky and Kelsey May of Lexington, Kentucky; her sisters, Jaime Evans Coleman of Dandridge and Robyn Evans Spradlin of Newport, Tennessee; and her grandson Oliver Douglas May.
