She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Martin and Esley Ferguson Castle. She is survived by: her husband William J. Smith; her children, Wade Smith of Paintsville, KY, Cynthia Wells of Van Lear, KY, Beverly Blanton of Oil Springs, KY and Diana Bowling of Hager Hill, KY.; and her sister Philis Sparks of Michigan. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
