She was predeceased by: her sons, Gary Wayne Anderson and Bobby Gene Carpenter. She is survived by: her husband William Anderson; her children, Ernie Anderson (Betty), Shirley Houston (Bobby), Phyllis Johnson, Harold Carpenter (Linda), Billy Anderson (Wanda), Larry Anderson (Sheila), Jack Anderson, James Anderson (Pamela) and Jim Anderson (Diana); her siblings, Norman, Ronald, J. T. Carpenter, Faye Miller and Dessie Himes; and her grandsons, Brandon Anderson, Steven Anderson, Nick Anderson, Aaron Anderson, Anthony Johnson, David Johnson, William Johnson and Richard Johnson. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
