She is survived by: her children, Arthur Warren Purkel and Andrea Purkel Neilson (Kyle); her grandchildren, Megan Anne Neilson and Evan Arthur Neilson; her great-nephew Nathan Daniel Bodkin; and her great-nieces, Dawn Bodkin Hawkins, Melissa Bodkin Bilyeu and Terresa Bodkin Dowdy.
