She was predeceased by: her grandmother Martha McKinney; and her cousin John Bryant McKinney. She is survived by: her parents, Jonathan Lee and Claudia McKinney Thompson of Gilbertsville, KY; her siblings, Rodney Shelton of Gilbertsville and Candy Hatchett (Matthew) of Paducah; her nephew Austin Culp (Jennifer) of Gilbertsville; her niece Madeline Fiers (Tate) of Hickory, KY; her close friend Judy Chapman; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Addleigh Culp, Kinzlee Culp, Briley Culp, Bentley Culp and Weston Fiers.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah (120 Memorial Dr, Paducah, KY 42001). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
