He was predeceased by: his son David Terrell Downs; his brother James Timothy Downs; and his parents, Jimmy Downs and Nell Downs (Terrell). He is survived by: his wife Janice Downs (Andrews); his daughter Tracy Miller (Darin) of Sharpe; his stepdaughter Whitney of Lexington; his sister Linda Beggs of Paducah; his grandchildren, Jackson Miller, Jamison Miller, Grayson Miller and Eli Claxton; and also Thomas (Justin) of Lexington.
