She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy P. Rushing Sr. and Rosie Lee Rushing; her husband Isaac L. May; her children, Charles Wayne May, Mark Steven May, Linda Ruth Davis, Sharon Yvonne McCormick and Soundra G. May; and her siblings, Horace, Coy Leon, Joseph Matthew Rushing and Opal Y. Travis.
She is survived by: her children, William Leon May of Ledbetter, KY, Gaylon Michael May (Cheryl) of Ledbetter, KY and Mona M. Hope of Ledbetter; and her sister Rebecca Faye Rushing of Burna, KY. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home (2410 Jackson St, Paducah, KY 42003). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Good Hope Cemetery.
