With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Catherine Sample (Paducah, Kentucky), born in Couch, Missouri, who passed away on February 18, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Atlee and Nellie Lee Robinson; and her siblings, Harry, Elmer, Billy and Iona (Ruth).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Alissa (Brandon), Ashley (Bill), Tiffany, Rachelle (Nick), Megan (Henry), Kristen (Brent), Philip, Emily, Zachary, Makenney (Ethan), Michaelyn, Xander and Ella; and her great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Addison, Frankie, Noah, Bennett, Elena, Caroline, Catherine, Maia, Emma, Ethan, Anna, Julie, Ben, Daylin, Reed and Barrett. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hughes Funeral Home (2975 Old Husbands Rd, Paducah, KY 42003). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Marshall County Memory Gardens (1907 US-641, Benton, KY 42025).
