He is survived by: his wife Waltraut Abramowski (Trudy); his children, Ralph Miatkowski of Paducah and Rita Laszewski of Paducah; and his brothers, Enrico Miatkowski and Helmut Miatkowski of Germany. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
