He was predeceased by: his grandson Joshua "Tray" Combs; his siblings, Inez Noble, Illina Norwich, Nancy Woody, Billy Combs, Arley Combs and Carlos Combs; and his parents, Robert Combs Sr. and Jipsy Combs.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott Combs (Laura) of Paducah and David "Bebo" Combs of Wildersville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Sarah Combs Colston, Jaida Combs, Mia "Charlea" Combs and Mitchell Combs; his great grandchildren, Gentry Colston, Luella Colston, Cullen Combs and Samuel Combs; and his sisters, Jean Mitchell of Paris and Kathleen Fox of Bentown, Kentucky..
