He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Hunter Edmonds Varnum; his stepfather Ed Varnum; his mother-in-law Penny Lynn Hurst Kirkham; and his grandparents, Malcolm Sr., Dorothy Couch, Dean and Alma Edmonds.
He is survived by: his wife Laurrelle Lee Kirkham Couch; his children, Mallory Laurrelle Couch of Paducah and Landon Phillip Couch of Paducah; his father Malcolm Couch, Jr. (Betty) of Paducah; his siblings, Tina Ann Myers (Larry Shanon) of Paducah, Malcolm Ray Couch (Dawn) of Ledbetter and Tim Dale Couch (Amy) of Marshall County, Kentucky; his grandfather-in-law Jacqueline Laurrelle Bryant of Paducah; his father-in-law Howard Douglas Kirkham (Susan) of Paducah; his brothers-in-law, Thomas Howard Kirkham (Stacy) of Paducah and Timothy Douglas Kirkham of Ballard County; and his nieces and nephews, Kelsey Couch, Crystal Faulk, Courtney O'Neal, Austin Couch, Ethan Couch, Johnathan Cowen, Matthew Cowen, Ashton Kirkham of Thomas, Emily Glover, Nate Tidwell, Connor Kirkham and Penny Kirkham.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah (120 Memorial Dr, Paducah, KY 42001). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
