She is survived by: her husband Everett Wardell Yates of LaCenter, KY; her children, Wartez Yates of LaCenter, KY, Torsh Yates of LaCenter, KY, Delana Orr of Paducah, KY and Nikki Yates of Nashville, TN; her goddaughter Enetria Griffin of LaCenter, KY; her siblings, Troy Byas (Carolyn) of Paducah, KY, Thomas Byas (Sue) of Springfield, Warren Byas (Jocelyn) of West Paducah, KY, Jeffery Byas (Sandy) of Paducah, KY, Shirley O'Neal of Kevil, KY, Linda Skyes of LaCenter, KY and Barbara Yates (Earnest) of LaCenter, KY; her siblings-in-law, Ronnie Yates, Debra Smith, Sandra Yates, Allison Yates and Dorothy Byas; and her grandchildren, Nevaeh Yates, Brandi Jones, Kionna Waldon, Kiael Waldon, Kenlin Thomas, Quinn Orr, Devontae Orr and Dez Orr. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fairview Missionary Baptist Church (373 Forest St, La Center, KY 42056). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at the same location.
