He is survived by: his wife Diana Melton; his children, Michael Melton Jr. (Sarah) of Elgin, OK, Jody Melton (Christy) of Paducah and Tracy Jameson (Daniel) of Hardin, KY; his siblings, Joe Melton (Mary) of Owensboro, Michael J. Melton (Jana) of Benton, KY, Carolyn Melton Young (Bill) of Paducah, Lynn Turner of Owensboro and Debbie LaGrange (Don) of Owensboro; and his grandchildren, Hannah Boyd (Keith), Ella Melton, Ryan Mitchell, Keylee Ranabargar, Clayton Ranabarger, Jacob Melton, Blake Melton, Caleb Melton, Ashlyn Jameson and Braxton Jameson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hughes Funeral Home (2975 Old Husbands Rd, Paducah, KY 42003). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
