He was predeceased by: his parents, Mauris Alexander Dodson and Lois Evelyn Vance. He is survived by: his sons, Dereck Dodson, Alan Joseph Dodson, Dylan Dodson and Austin Dodson; and his sisters, Lana Chandler (Larry) of LaCenter, KY and Beverly Eastman. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Mauris was able to help others through organ donation with Network For Hope.
