With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Louise Faughn Joiner Abanatha (Paducah, Kentucky), born in West Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on October 30, 2018 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Robert Wilton Joiner and Malcom F. Abanatha; her siblings, Dorothea Scheer and Thomas Faughn; and her grandson Donna Kay Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara "Bobbi" Minder (Kenny) of Paducah, KY, O. D. Joiner (Cindy) of Salem, KY and James Joiner (Carla) of Orlando, FL; her stepson Timothy Abanatha of Paducah, KY; her siblings, Pearl Kell of Paducah, KY, Shirley Jones of Tilene, KY and Paul Faughn of Ledbetter, KY; and her parents, Thomas Henry Faughn and Ethel Minnie Mathis Faughn. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
