He was predeceased by: his parents, Noemi Seheult and William Kennedy; his wife Grace Lorenz; his sons, Harold, Dick, John, Ralph, Paul Kennedy and Hugh Swift Kennedy; and his daughter-in-law Coulleen Lees.
He is survived by: his children, Sue Korlan, David Kennedy, Carol Kennedy (late Coulleen Lees), Eileen Kennedy (Greg Cloyd), Janice Reeder, Kathleen Kennedy (Gary Qualls), Larry Kennedy (Tracey McKibben Kennedy), Joseph Kennedy (Leonard Loh), Mary Kennedy (Jeff Carpenter) and Jeanne Kennedy (David Treves); his grandchildren, Ben, Liam Cloyd, Emily Woods, Linus Qualls, Jeffrey Reeder, Jackie Humphrey, Declan Carpenter, Sam, Jack Kennedy, Gabriel, Rui and Micah Treves; his great grandchildren, Riley, Sofia, Kelly, Will Cloyd, Noah, Anessa, Solomon Woods and Mason Qualls; his close friends, Ed and Peggy Taylor; and his caregivers, Tonia Akins, June Davis, Stacey Gardner, Heather Heath and Aquilla Jackson.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah (120 Memorial Dr, Paducah, KY 42001). A prayer was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church (116 S 6th St, Paducah, KY 42001).
