He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Habacker, and Aline Holt Habacker, Sr.; his siblings, Sue Habacker Thompson and Howard Lyle Habacker, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Julie Yeomans Habacker; and his brother-in-law Dr. Fredric Hatcher.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Anne Hatcher Habacker of Paducah; his children, Julie Lynne Smith (Mark) of O'Fallon, MO, Steven Habacker (Sheila) of Nashville, TN and James "Jim" Habacker of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Ryan Smith, Margaret Smith, Ally Smith Flanagan (Aaron), Charles Habacker (Georgia), Lynsey Habacker Gregory (Michael), Griffin Habacker, Holt Habacker and Mason Habacker; his great grandchildren, Calvin Gregory and Rory Flanagan; and his sister-in-law Nancy Hatcher. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
