She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Yates and Ollie Mae Yates; her husband Lars Cecil Blythe; her grandchildren, Eric Klope and Hannah Klope; and her siblings, Shirley Boyd, Peggy Yates, Bobby Yates and Vernon Louis Yates.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Heady (Terry) of Paducah, Pamela Klope (Kevin) of West Paducah, Lars Blythe (Molly) of Paducah and Jeff Blythe (Jeff Byas) of Chicago, Illinois; her sisters, Linda Johnson (Steve) of Paducah and Sharon Stovall (Clyde) of Greenville, Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Heather King (Matt), Dane Blythe (Allyson), Dr. Emily Johnston (Lee), Catherine DuPerrieu (Andrew), Andrew Klope (Megan) and Jeramie Heady. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah (120 Memorial Dr, Paducah, KY 42001). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
