He is survived by: his children, Tom Hines of Paducah, Kenneth Joe Hines of Paducah and Sherri Doom of Paducah; and his siblings, Diane Melton of Paducah, Sammy Hines of Paducah, Gary Hines of Paducah, Ronnie Hines of Paducah and Johnny Hines of Paducah. He is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
