Though Joseph Alton may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joseph Alton touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George B. Hayden Jr. and JoAnn Hayden. He is survived by: his daughters, Jodi Wring of Salem, Wendi Cowne of Janesville and Eleanor "Elli" Bell of West Paducah; and his siblings, Margie Heiar, Patsy Hayden of Paducah, Bernard Hayden of Paducah, Linda O'Brian of Paducah, Phillip Hayden of Paducah and Mel Hayden of Paducah. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The military honors will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the West Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (5817 Fort Campbell Blvd, Hopkinsville, KY 42240).
