It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Johnnie Elrod of Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Johnnie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Johnnie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Erwin and Ruth Clark Elrod; and her sister Vickie Neal. She is survived by: her sister Debbie Abanathy of Gilbertsville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Lone Oak (3745 Old US Hwy 45 S, Paducah, KY 42003). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
