He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Michele Caubit Hartig; his sons, John Michael Hartig of Paducah, KY and Jimmy Pierre Hartig of Kevil; his grandchildren, Michael Hartig (Stefanie) of Murray, Michelle Hartig-Bass (Christopher) of Kevil, Daniel Hartig (Peyton) of Kevil, Blake Hartig (Kristain) of Kevil and Britta Hartig (Tyler) of Kevil; and his great grandchildren, Makenzi, Bella, Landon, Rowen, Anna and Brantley.
