With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James O. Scott of Paducah, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on January 21, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Franklin Scott and Reba Oda Johnson Scott; and his siblings, Elizabeth Connor, Martha Jean Floyd, Paul Scott (Buddy) and Harry Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Mary M. Walker Scott; his sons, Philip Scott (Kimberly Wajer-Scott) of Evansville and Steve Scott of La Vergne, Tennessee; and his grandson Duncan Leo Scott. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church (116 S 6th St, Paducah, KY 42001). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church 116 South 6th.
