She was predeceased by: her husband John James Helm; and her siblings, Carolyn Short, Betty Thomasson and Jack Slagle. She is survived by: her children, James Robert Helm (Trisha) of Benton and Lori Thompson (Scott) of Smithland; her sisters, Shirley Porter of Metropolis and Faye Reynolds of Paducah; and her grandchildren, Nathan Thompson, Tyler Helm, Trent Thompson and Tori Minard. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
