David left this world on March 16, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy David leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though David may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Grimes and Fort Grimes; and his sister Rachel Grimes Smithson. He is survived by: his wife Connie Grimes; his children, Jennifer Presley (Don) of Lillburn, Georgia and Jeremy Grimes of Paducah; and his grandchildren, Don Presley III, Liam Grimes, Devlin Grimes and Grayson Grimes.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Lone Oak (3745 Old US Hwy 45 S, Paducah, KY 42003). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
