He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia L. Pendergrass Goodwin; and his siblings, Mary Patterson, Annabelle Newman, Clint Goodwin and Kenneth Goodwin.
He is survived by: his son Ronald Wayne Goodwin of Paducah; his stepdaughter Sonia Frisk of Festus, Missouri; his grandchildren, Ronald William Goodwin of Paducah, Pam Curry of Calvert City, Sandy Natt of Coleman, Janice Goodwin of Wyandotte and Sara Jones of West Paducah; and his great grandchildren, Mike and Jerry Frisk. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
